Esther Foth - has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a member of the American Counseling Association and a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has training and experience in the areas of life stage issues, crisis, abuse, trauma, family & relationships, sexuality, reproductive health concerns (pregnancy & infertility), mood issues, grief and loss, and multi-cultural counselling. Esther enjoys providing counselling for adults, youth, and couples, at the Burlington office and Redeemer University
Kevin Hoogstad, - M. Div.,member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Kevin is trained in Solution Focused Therapy Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Family/Systems Therapy. He specializes in Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss, Parenting, Relationship Counselling, Stress, Trauma, and Workplace Issues/Stress. Kevin provides individual and couple counselling in the Burlington office and at Rehoboth Christian School in Copetown.
Sabrina Jaspers- B.A, BSW, finishing Masters degree), certification for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, A member of the College of Social workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers, Sabrina specializes in most issues, including depression, anxiety, panic, and postpartum depression and anxiety. She also has experience with those who have experienced trauma, or any other stressor. Provides counselling for individuals in our Burlington office.
Brian Schouwstra -M. Div, M.T.S. Concentration in Counselling and CCEF trained. Provides counselling in our Lambeth and Burlington offices, as well as providing services in our satellite office in Fergus. . He is presently working toward certification with the Association of Biblical Counsellors. Brian provides counselling individual and couple counselling to adults and teens; Brian counsels in the areas of marriage, depression, anxiety, anger, grief/loss, stress, pornography, and some experience assisting people who experience the trials of OCD and Schizophrenia.
Tara Van Halteren - Masters of Divinity in Counselling and is a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Tara is passionate about continuous growth, learning, and connecting with individuals. She has an educational background in music and psychology. Tara has experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, academic concerns, post-secondary decisions, addictions, boundaries, life transitions, grief, missions, self-confidence and self-esteem, third-culture individuals, and spirituality in teens, adults, and couples. She has completed Focusing I training and is a Prepare and Enrich Facilitator.
Keith Verburg - Executive Director of the CCC. Keith has a Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Keith uses Soloution Focused Therapy, Emotionally focused Theory, Cognitive Behviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment theory with clients. Keith has experience in the areas of Anxiety, Panic, Depression, Trauma, Stress, Burnout, Grief and Loss, Attachment and Family Systems, Sexual and Intimacy issues, Keith provides counselling in our Burlington office, Redeemer University and also at Guido de Bres High school. Keith provides counselling for individual adults, and teenagers.
Aileen Pennings – is an accredited financial counsellor Canada (AFCC). The Association for Financial Counselling and Planning Education certification is licensed by the Ontario Association of Credit Counselling Services. Aileen provides individual and couple sessions and assists clients in developing effective money management skills including assistance with budgeting, support in setting financial goals and addressing debt. Aileen provides financial counselling in the Lambeth office.
