Jesus Christ has poured out many gifts within His body, including pastoral care by office bearers through the Word and prayer. Hearts, hands, and minds are at work among believers. Yet, our lives can be challenging, and the valleys and dark places can be difficult to navigate. WrapAround provides a faith-based model of care in an atmosphere of confidentiality and encouragement where there are complex and challenging needs in the life of an individual or family. In a faith-based WrapAround, we are committed to helping people access their God-given gifts and potential to live and grow in Jesus Christ.
How does WrapAround happen?
Two trained WrapAround Facilitators meet with an individual or a family to identify their hopes and dreams, their goals and needs, and people who could make up a team of supports for them. After a personal plan is developed, the WrapAround facilitators guide the individual/family and their support team through the WrapAround process with the goal of addressing their needs through strategies intended to help them reach their goals.
What does WrapAround do?
The faith-based WrapAround model implements the best supports possible for individuals/families with complex and serious needs in order to be able to function, grow, and cope within their own personal life, and remain centered around being part of a covenantal community and salt and light in the world around us.
What makes WrapAround so unique?
- A flexible and unique personal plan is developed with the individual/family
- Individual/person identifies needs, articulates their goals and with a team strategizes on how to meet the goals.
- The plan and process respect the strengths, goals, and needs of the individual/family, as well as the pastoral care being provided within the context of church life.
- A safety plan is created to support the individual/family should a crisis arise

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. Galatians 6:9,10
